ضلع وسطی کراچی کے اسکول میں فری میڈیکل کیمپ کا افتتاح
صحت مند نوجوان ہی صحت مند معاشرے کی پہچان ہوتے ہیں ۔ سید شاکرعلی
کیمپ کے انعقاد کا مقصد نوجوانوں کی ذہنی ، جسمانی اور نفسیاتی صحت کے مسائل پر آگاہی فراہم کرنا ہے

کراچی ( ) بلدیہ عالیہ کراچی وسطی کے وائس سید شاکر علی نے کہا ہے کہ صحت مند معاشرہ صحت مند قوم تشکیل دیتا ہے جبکہ نوجوان کسی بھی قوم کا مستقبل ہوتے ہیں جنھیں آگے چل کر ملک کی باگ دوڑ سنبھالنا ہوتی ہے ان خیالات کا اظہار انہوں نے ویژنری فاؤنڈیشن پاکستان نے رتگرز پاکستان اور ضلع وسطی کراچی کے تعاون سے ضلع وسطی کراچی کے زیر انتظام اسکول میں ایک روزہ یوتھ میڈیکل کیمپ کے افتتاح کے موقع پر خطاب کرتے ہوئے کیا ۔ کیمپ کا مقصد نوجوانوں کی ذہنی، جسمانی، نفسیاتی، جنسی اور تولیدی صحت کے حوالے سے نوجوانوں کے مسائل پر کام کرنا ہے ۔اس موقع پر مونسپل کمشنر محمد وسیم سومرو ،بریگیڈئر ڈاکٹر راشد ،یوتھ کونسلر محمد سعد ملک،عمار عباس ،سٹی یوتھ کونسلر زونا نقوی بھی موجود تھے۔افتتاح کے موقع پر اپنے خیالات کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے جناب سید شاکر علی نے ویژنری فاؤنڈیشن پاکستان کی اس کاوش کو سراہا او ر ضلع وسطی کراچی کے اسکول کے نوجوانوں کے لیے اس بات کو خوش آئند قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ ویژنری فاؤنڈیشن پاکستان معاشرے کے نوجوانوں تک نوجوان دوست علاج معالجے کی سہولیات پہنچانے میں کوشاں ہیں۔ضلع وسطی کراچی کی انتظامیہ اسکول اور آؤٹ آف اسکول نوجوانوں کی فلاح و بہبود کے لئے کم مدتی اور طویل مدتی پروگرام شروع کرنے جا رہی ہے، اس کیمپ کا انعقاد بھی ضلع وسطی کراچی کے تعاون سے کیا جا رہا ہے اور اس طرح کے مزید کیمپس ضلع وسطی کراچی کے دوسرے اسکولوں اور کمیونیٹیز میں بھی لگائے جائیں گے۔ وہ اس طرح کے پروگرامز جن میں نوجوانوں کی صحت ، تعلیم اور ان میں قائدانہ صلاحیتوں کو اجاگر کیا جائے ، اپنی بھرپور سپورٹ کا بھی یقین دلاتے ہیں۔واضح رہے کہ کیمپ کا انعقاد کامقصد نوجوانوں کی بڑھتی ہوئی عمرکے درپیش جسمانی ،ذہنی ،نفسیاتی مسائل، مفت علاج معالجہ، اور کاؤنسلنگ کی سہولیات مہیا کرنا تھا۔ جس کے لئے ماہر ڈاکٹراور کنسلٹنٹ، ماہر نفسیات، امر اض خواتین کی ماہر ڈاکٹر، اور ، فیملی پلاننگ کے حوالے سے ڈاکٹر بھی اس میڈیکل کیمپ میں موجود تھے۔اس موقع پرچیف ایگزیکیوٹیو آفیسر ، ویژنری فاؤنڈیشن پاکستان راشدمحمود خان نے کہا کہ رتگرز پاکستان اور ویژنری فاؤنڈیشن پاکستان کا مقصد نوجوانوں کی ذہنی ، جسمانی اور نفسیاتی صحت کے مسائل پر آگاہی اور نوجوان دوست صحت کی سہولیات مہیا کرنا ہیے اور ہمارا مقصد نوجوانوں کے مسائل کے حل کے لئے جہاں تک ہو سکے اپنی خدمات مہیا کرنا ہے۔ ویژنری فاؤنڈیشن پاکستان نے نوجوانوں تک نوجوان دوست صحت کی سہولیات کی فراہمی کے لئے گڈاپ ٹاؤن میں 15میڈکل کیمپس انعقا د پہلے ہی کر چکا ہے۔ اسکول کی پر نسپل ، محترمہ رضیہ سلطانہ نے اس اقدام کو بہت سراہتے ہوئے سید شاکر علی ضلعی انتظامیہ اور ویژنری فاؤنڈیشن کی پوری ٹیم کو اس میڈیکل کیمپ کے کامیاب انعقاد پر مبارکباد ی۔ ضلع وسطی کراچی کے ضلعی یوتھ کاؤنسلر ، جناب عمار صاحب نے اس کیمپ کا خاص طور پر دورہ کرتے ہوئے نوجوانوں کے لئے ہونے والے اقدام پر نہایت خوشی اور مسرت کا اظہار کیا۔

Karachi – October 25, 2016: Mr. Shakir,
Vice Chairman DMC, Karachi Central and Brig. (ret.) Dr Ahmed Rashid, Advisor to
chairman DMC, Karachi Central, inaugurated second Youth Well Being camp
organized by Visionary Foundation Pakistan in collaboration with DMC, Karachi
Central under the GUSO Program with the support of Rutgers Pakistan at DMC
School,Liquatabad Town, Karachi Central.
Mr. Shakir, Vice Chairman DMC, Karachi
Central take keen interest in providing awareness regarding sexual and
reproductive health issues and said “ DMC Karachi Central playing their vital
role for the benefit of young people and they will make sure to spread this
awareness all over the Karachi and specially in district central. DMC Karachi
has made collaboration with Visionary Foundation Pakistan in this regard and started
these youth wellbeing camps for the benefits of young people studying the DMC
School. He also encouraged young people to take participation in these kinds of
activities without any sort of hesitation.
Moreover, Brig. (ret.) Dr Ahmed Rashid
said that, “It is a great opportunity to support all young people to learn
about their mental, physical and sexual health”. He stated that life skill base
education should be included in school’s curriculum and should not be just
overlooked just because it’s a taboo. He also appreciated and thanked Visionary
foundation for its services and efforts for the betterment of young people of
Pakistan.

Pakistan said that, “The aim of Visionary Foundation Pakistan and Rutgers
Pakistan is to provide sexual and reproductive health information and services
to young people. The objective of the camp is to provide a free youth friendly
health service that includesconsultation, information, counseling, treatment and referral to young people with confidentiality and guided support. It will allow young people to develop their
physical, mental, physiological, and emotional health to compete in an
increasingly globalized world. The overall goal of this initiative is to
provide a plate form where young people can share, discuss, and ask about their
health problems.”
Numbers of
young people appreciated the efforts made by Visionary Foundation Pakistan and
DMC Karachi Central and asked to seek advice from the experts.
“talking about our sexual health,
puberty and other health issues to our parents and teachers is seen as sign of
shamelessness and is considered outside the boundaries of respect” said a young
girl at the camp.
This was a
full day camp which comprised of different health categories; ranges from
physical health to the mental and sexual changes of young people. Experts
from the respective fields were the part of the youth wellbeing camp, so the
youth can make the most of this one-day camp. More than 100 Young male students aged 13-17 majorly
benefited by the youth well being camp.
